LAST EARTH: A CAPTIVATING ENVIRONMENTAL ART EXPERIENCE IS COMING TO TUOLUMNE CITY
The Greater Good and Tuolumne County Arts invites all ages to experience the transformation of Tuolumne City’s Memorial Hall into an immersive and interactive art experience for Earth Day Weekend 2024. Envisioned as an artistic portal for ecological reflection and renewal, the event welcomes the community to delve into a realm where art and environmental consciousness converge.
Featuring a face-melting mix of analog and digital projection and video art, recycled sculpture, and interactive elements, complemented by live music from some of California’s finest artists, this show will be a truly one-of-a-kind experience that no one will want to miss. Last Earth offers a unique time and space for ecological contemplation, reflection, and renewal and will usher the audience through a cycle that spans an entire weekend of performances by California artists.
Admission is free to all events, Friday through Sunday, supported by a grant from Heartland Creative Corps through the California Arts Council and United Way Merced. Many thanks to Tuolumne County Arts, our local administering agency.
